Stillbury Opens Its Design Calendar for Utah Timber Structure Projects

How a Stillbury project gets from a free design visit to a build date, and how to read the open build slots we publish.

Stillbury designs and builds custom timber pergolas, gazebos, cabanas, pavilions and decks along Utah's Wasatch Front. We opened our design calendar in June 2026, and it stays open: you can book a free design visit whatever month you hope to build.

What fills up is the build schedule. We build a limited number of structures each month, so this post explains how a project moves from first visit to build date, and how to read the open slots we publish.

From design visit to build date

  1. Book a visit. We come to your home, measure the yard and listen to how you want to use it.
  2. See it in 3D. You typically have the 3D design and a written quote within a few days of our visit. Both are free, and you owe nothing unless you decide to build.
  3. Reserve your slot. Once you approve the design, sign and pay the deposit, we hold your slot and give you a date.
  4. We build it. We prepare the drawings for your city, and for your HOA if you have one. Then our crew builds the design you approved.

How the open build slots work

Each month has a set number of build slots: as many structures as our crew can build well. The board at the bottom of this page lists the months we are booking and how many slots each one has left. It reads from our shop schedule and updates twice a day.

Only a signed agreement and a deposit hold a slot. A design or a quote does not, so a month can fill between your design visit and the day you sign. If you have a date in mind, tell us at the visit and we will tell you plainly whether it is realistic.

The build date also depends on the size of the job, permits and the season. We set it in writing before anything starts.

Outside Utah

Our crew also builds in Douglas County, Colorado. Everywhere else, we ship the design as a pre-cut kit. Kits are cut on the same shop schedule, and the kits page shows its open slots.
